Devils Tower & Little Bighorn

After waking up in the nicest hotel we've stayed yet on Ellsworth Air Force Base (and only costing $39), we set out to visit Devils Tower in Wyoming. The Devils Tower is quite a dramatic sight in person, it's quite a contrast to the landscape that surrounds it.

Next, we went to visit the Battle of the Little Bighorn, also called Custer's Last Stand, in Montana. But before the Battle we refueled our stomaches with some Taco Johns! Yea! Taco Johns!
Okay, now Custer's Last Stand:

After a long day of driving and hiking we checked-in at the Motel 6 just after a slight detour that led us to a (abandoned?) train yard. The hotel's wifi was terrible so we found Rocker's Hotel Bar nearby and used their wifi to plan our trip through Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Las Angeles. On special at Rocker's... Sierra Nevada Pale Ale for $1.50!

Unfortunately, after a few of those pale ales we found ourselves at McD's for a late night cheese burger & fries. =)

Glad Montana saved the day and for free. wow

NJ is having a heat wave of days over 100 degrees and you send a pix of you in a long sleeve sweatshirt. AHHHH

Why doesn't Kyle write any blogs? Just curious.
